Add a flavor of antiquity to your presentation with this collection of
high-detail images from the history of chemistry. Hundreds of books have
been scoured to glean these images. All of these images have been scanned
from the original publications where the illustrations appeared. These
images span the period from alchemy to the early 1900's. Each image has
been carefully chosen for detail and scanned at 600 dpi and is available
in a Windows Bitmap (BMP) file format.

Includes antique balances and miscellaneous pieces of lab equipment
including glassware, thermometers, and mechanical devices. There are 6
balances and 60 pieces of equipment in this volume on one 3.5" HD disk.

Includes scenes of alchemists' laboratories, groups of scientists,
and large equipment. There are 39 scenes in this volume on three 3.5" HD
disks.

Volume III Title Pages and Chemical Tables
A collection of title pages from seminal publications from the early
years of chemistry. Also includes a selection of alchemists' and early
chemists' tables of elements and compounds. There are 22 title pages and
14 chemical tables in this volume on three 3.5" HD disks.

Volume IV Experiments & Apparatus
A collection of notable and curious experiments and apparatus from
the early days of chemistry. There are 150 experiments and apparatus in
this volume on four 3.5" HD disks.

Volume V Portraits
A collection of portraits of famous chemists. These images are scanned
as gray-scale to maintain the same level of resolution as the original
print they were scanned from. There are 62 portraits in this volume which
is available only on CD-ROM.
