Heat Capacities of Gases
This program provides the ability to estimate mean heat capacities at a
selected temperature, and over a specified temperature range for 458 gas
phase materials,both inorganic and organic (from C1 to C20) . The coefficients
used in the equation are those found in "The Properties of Gases and Liquids"
by Reid, Prausnitz, and Poling, Fourth Edition, McGraw-Hill, 1987. The
estimated mean heat capacity values are available inboth American and SI
Units: BTU/lbm,ºF, BTU/lbmolmºF, J/(gramºC), and J/(gmolºC).
The program will output heat capacities. (Requires Windows 3.1, 95, 98
or NT and Excel 4.0 or higher).
