React-ItTM
React-It was designed for synthetic organic chemists for use as a spreadsheet
for calculating weights and volumes of reagents in typical laboratory preparations.
The program includes an interactive calculator to calculate such things
molecular weights from molecular formulas. Data can be easily transferred
back and forth between the calculator and the spreadsheet. Also included
is a reagent database of more than 300 standard reagents for common organic
synthesis reagents such as alcohols, amines, halides, mercaptens and more.
Included are physical properties of these reagents that can be copied directly
to the spreadsheet. Notes can also be attached to the spreadsheets for
recording references, comments, procedures, etc. Although React-It was
designed for and by synthetic organic chemists, it is also ideal for any
application involving the calculation of weight, volume and molecular equivalents.
