HPLC Calculations Assistant and Reference Tools
This is the ideal tool for laboratory personnel who need to do various
HPLC calculations or find useful reference information quickly. The program
features a master Page Selector which allows the operator to choose any
of 33 built-in functions. A sweep of the mouse produces a pop-up window
describing each button's functions. It includes 23 individual calculators
related to peaks, band-spreading, resolution, columns, eluents, detection
and quantification. For example, calculators in the "Peaks" section determine
retention time, peak velocity, retention volume, selectivity, plates, HETP
and asymmetry. In operation, users may input parameters particular to their
own experiments. Calculated results are then automatically recorded in
an electronic notebook which can be printed. The program also includes
two on-screen plotting devices, eight critical reference charts and tables,
printout resources, bibliography and an extended glossary of important
HPLC terms. (Requires Windows 3.1, 95, 98 or NT)
