PowerRefTM - Reference Managing Software
PowerRef is a powerful and easy-to-use bibliographic reference managing
program. It helps you manage references of journal articles, books, patents,
reports, software, hardware, video, graphics, and more. You can easily
add new reference types and define any number of user fields. The "smart
editor" supports multiple-step undo and copying and pasting text to or
from your word-processor. The friendly tabbed pages allows easy switching
between "List View" and "Full View". The tabbed notebooks allows instant
toggling among viewing options including all records, marked records, and
searched records. You can quickly edit, search, sort and export formatted
references to your favorite word processor. In addition to the supplied
import/export filters, you can quickly define new filters, download new
filters from the World Wide Web and shared filter files (in ASCII format)
from co-workers. You can import and export many types of formats including
tagged lines, tab delimited, comma delimited, multiple lines, and more.
The program supports on-line service formats and formats of other reference
programs. You can control font faces, colors and styles for viewing, editing,
printing and exporting. PowerRef is the only program that allows you to
store graphics and any other types of documents with your references. It
can store files in internal databases or store as links. You can view graphics
within PowerRef or open attached documents using specified programs.(Requires
