DeLong® CULTURE FLASKS WITH OR WITHOUT STAINLESS STEEL CLOSURES

The DeLong ® Culture Flask is excellent for growing small amounts of microbial cultures, both aerobic and anaerobic organisms, storing of culture media, and mixing. Small amounts of adherent cell culture can also be grown. For adherent cells, the large bottom allows for swirling of digestive enzymes, for quick removal and separation of cells.

NEPHELO CULTURE FLASKS

Nephelo Culture Flasks simplify the spectrophotometrical method for determining fluid turbidity. Eliminate the need to pipette material from one tube to the next and reduce the risk of contamination, by tilting the flask and inserting the sidearm into a nephelometer or similar instrument. Bellco stocks Nephelo Flasks for commonly used spectrophotometers and can fabricate custom flasks for your specific application.

Shake Flasks are the basic tool for growth studies of aerobic microbial cultures. Their practicality suits them to tests such as primary screening, fermentation media development, and bacteria viability, prior to performing fermentor studies. Overhead Drive Systems

The Bellco Overhead Drive System provides a versatile, direct-drive agitation method suitable for any mixing use, including cell culture and other aseptic applications. Shaft driven impeller assemblies eliminate the problem of magnetic agitator decoupling associated with larger volumes, higher speeds and viscous solutions. Four components comprise a complete system. Select an overhead drive, cap assembly, impeller assembly and vessel tailored to your volume, viscosity and mixing speed requirements. Bellco also offers a wide range of accessories for gassing, fluid and probe ports.
